You spend half of your life trying to fall behind
You're using your headphones to drown out your mind
It was so easy and the words so sweet
You can't remember, you try to move your feet
Eet, eet, eet
Eet, eet, eet
Someone's deciding whether or not to steal
He opens a window just to feel the chill
He hears that outside, a small boy just started to cry
'Cause it's his turn, but his brother won't let him try.
-Eet by Regina Spektor
I'm in the mood for a breakdown
A slowing down of all the things in my mind
That keep on trying to figure out how to pin you down
In desperate need of a shakedown
A blowing down of all the ways that I try
To talk you into a corner until you look like me
A slowing down of all the things in my mind
That keep on trying to figure out how to pin you down
In desperate need of a shakedown
A blowing down of all the ways that I try
To talk you into a corner until you look like me
-A song that I've never heard, but wanted to put on here for fun
(Symphony by Chris Taylor)
Those were just some random excerpts from songs that are pleasing to the ears.
I now think that I've found my theme song. It is called "Requiem For a Dream" and it is on the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. It is so intense and I am loving it! I am listening to it as I type a 100 question test for Drivers ed. homework. It makes me feel like I am writing this test to save the world.
Well, I'd better get back to my important Drivers Handbook studying and highlighting!
Don't run with a sucker in your mouth.
Love,
