Me and My Whisk Ukulele

So... Maybe I danced around my kitchen strumming a whisk and lip-mouthing to good stuff...
(Yes, I do say lip-mouthing instead of lip-syncing)

Playing the whisk is officially my new favorite activity. Let's just say that blasting really good music that includes a ukulele and good lyrics equals great conditions for the playing of the whisk. It has also made my desire to play a stringed instrument grow significantly. (but I can't leave my group of those with no musical talent)

Footage may be coming to you soon...

why would you do that?

Today in Drawing 2, a boy stole my lunchbox. I proceeded to give him the 'evil eye' and said, in a serious voice, "Why would you do that? What makes you think that you can just take my lunchbox?" Everyone on my side of the classroom went silent and just stared at me. I couldn't hold it in anymore, so I just burst out laughing and no one knew what to do. They all thought that I was being serious! I've always been happy and hyper in that class and none of them knew that I had it in me to pretend to be angry! Dee said that he thought I was going to kill him. I now officially scare everyone in my class.

Mission accomplished.

"Yeah, I've had a piece of ham in my pants all week just so I could have my own secret" -SNL

Over-sized Vegetables.

I know, I know. What in the world could I be talking about? Well, I am talking about those veggies that you forget to pick before they grow too large and bitter. They are no good to eat anymore, but they are magical to write messages on!

I just returned from a bike trip delivering 20 pounds of vegetables. Yeah, that's only three HUGE vegetables! The two zucchini were about as big as my torso and the ruffled cucumber was bigger than my calf! My basket was so incredibly heavy that I couldn't keep my handlebars straight for any amount of time at all. It was very very good. (except for when I got lost).

That's only a fraction of my day, though. Today was a minimal day, which means that I got out at 12:25. The district is making it look like this is such a good deal, but it's really extra school. Last year, these days would have been a day off, but now they've turned into half of a school day. Lame. The district is now officially a group of bums in my perspective. (I think I say 'bum' too much...)

After school, I went with a group of my favorites to Wal Mart to search for super hero boxers. Yes, Rachel and I like boxers. Don't judge if you've never worn them. They didn't have any good looking ones, so I just ended up buying baby food and two large carrots for lunch. Talk about 73 cents of goodness! We then proceeded to walk to Rachel's house and have a little party. Everyone there could play an instrument or sing except for Emily and I. It makes me want to stop being a bum in the musical area. That might not happen soon, though. Any good instruments for me to learn? I can't think of any.

Laughing parties are really the best things. It's like a workout of happiness! I was voted the craziest laugh... I completely agree, though! Ben and Maddy were pretty close, though. I probably formed a twelve pack from that laughing party! When the laughing had ceased, Ben and Rachel entertained us with their talents. I am pretty sure that they will be famous someday.

Yeah, that's a cackle!

After Rachel's, I came home to this:
My little sister, Michael is a wonderful cook! Plus the shaved ice and Marinelli's... 5 stars, Mike!

This is the point where I saw the zucchinis and I knew that I had to write messages. Yep. Good day. Plus the fact that I am listening to my favorite new songs! I'm starting to like Nevershoutnever and Walking the Dog has been stuck in my head all day and probably for the rest of all time.

That's my day. Oh, and my mom is telling me that I am interesting because I write notes on vegetables. I like it. I would hope that I'm creative.

the end of my day.

can every day be like yesterday?

Yesterday was probably as good as days can get! Let's just say that your whole day is better when you actually get up and do something on Saturdays instead of sleeping until noon.

It all started with Jessie Lythgoe. She is such an awesome cousin! She drove down here from BYU Idaho this weekend! So, I woke up to Jessie coming into my room! We talked for a while (because we love our talk time when everyone else is asleep). I love our talks. We're actually pretty deep.

After talking, we got ready and went to the walk. It was quite possibly the best walk of all time! Most of my invited friends cancelled, but it was really fun with those that came. We all had much fun finding the cure! Although, it was basically just a gigantic party. We had much fun with the Strawberry of Death, hundreds of pounds of ice, spin painting, picks, tattoos, and free sunglasses. It was seriously entertaining.

After the walk, I had a Jamba, saw Megan's apartment, had a nice nap, and a shower. Michael then made these insanely delicious fruit pie thingys with a blueberry compote and homemade whipped cream with my dad. I. was. in. heaven. And they made so many that I am actually currently enjoying another. Yum.

So, I thought that the day couldn't get any better after this, but it sure did! After my stomach was contempt, I then left for Taylor Ramsay's birthday party with Ben and Rachel. It was extremely fun and I am pretty sure that I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I now officially know my two favorite people. It was very good.

You'd think that it would be over now, but it wasn't! Brady and Noah picked me up from the party and we went to Coldstone with  the best cousins in the world! Man, I love my cousins. Don't worry... The night is still rocking! Eliza, Rachel, and Ben came over and we looked at Jupiter and the moon through our telescope. It was very enjoyable.

The night ended with a sleepover with Jessie and Skeetch. I really wish that every day could be like yesterday.

the greatest weather in a long time

Today, it rained. This may not be exciting to you, but I was loving it! I could hear the rain pounding down on the roof while in Spanish, and I am pretty sure that I was hyperventalating a little.... To my disappointment, the rain had ended by the time I got out of school. So, instead of riding home through a terrential downpour as I had hoped, I just rode on a wet, blue seat that used to be white. I was hoping that it would start raining again, so I rode my bike around (equipped with all of my school supplies and books) at the top of my hill until 3. I only felt three drops that whole time. Severley disappointed? Yes. I hope it will rain tomorrow...

How Could Life Get Any Better?

Nik Day is officially my favorite new singer! And he lives in Provo! I am currently listening to "How Could Life Get Any Better" on repeat. I do not know how this guy isn't famous.. He is the LDS Michael Buble! Thank you, Marissa for introducing his beautiful voice to me!
Favorite part of this song? Here it is:
"Tell me how could life get any better?
I feel like I could live like this forever.
The sky is such an interesting shade of blue,
and there isn't a thing that I've got to do."

It's really good.

There Are Some Interesting Things That Go On At Stake Dances...

A violently shimmying man, a girl gets her skirt pulled down, a boy looks like he is going to cry while he is dancing crazily, I danced with a boy that just smiled at me the whole time, and someone acted like they knew me very well. Oh, and I was the only one that saw all of this. Wow, it was weird. I am very glad that I went, though! I caught up with an AF friend, danced with someone that I wanted to dance with, and had a blast with Eliza! It was much better than sitting around being bored while everyone was at Sadies.

September Birthdays

I've never really noticed just how many birthdays are in September. I have been to three birthday parties within this last week, and I am going to one more today! Taht is a lot of partying. I am not complaining, though! I love birthday parties so much! Everyone is so happy and I love finding the perfect birthday present for someone. It is Eliza's birthday tomorrow and I am so excited! My little Eliza will be fifteen! Don't worry, I've been planning her present for two months now. :)

Last night I went to two parties! Sara's party and Nate's suprise party. They were quite wonderful except for the injuries. I met four new people, talked to an old friend for the first time since 6th grade, learned an INCREDIBLE handshake, stood on my head (kind of), lost 1 to 2 in wrestling, and I now have a fan club. That is one eventful night!

Oh, and I almost died last night! I had a dream last night that my blood sugar was 12 (which would probably equal death). I woke up at 1:30 to the symptoms that I was experiencing in my dream. I tested my blood sugar and I was 39. That is third on my list of lowest lows. I basically just shoved sugar into my mouth until I could think enough to walk upstairs. It was not a very fun experience.
